How We Support MHS Softball
The MHS Softball Line Drive Club exists to support the softball program in ways that school funding and program fundraising alone cannot. Through parent involvement, fundraising, and community partnerships, the club provides meaningful resources that enhance the student-athlete experience and support the coaching staff throughout the season.
Program Support & Player Resources

Player Performance & Program Development – Provided resources to support hitting mechanics, speed, and overall player performance, contributing to the ongoing development and growth of the program each season.

Program and Equipment Enhancements – Purchased and upgraded equipment, including pitching machines, bats, balls, nets, and other resources, to support program success and enhance athletes’ experience.

Game & Travel Support – Helped cover meals and snacks for away games and tournaments, ensuring players are supported during long competition days.
Team & Program Growth

Competitive Growth Support – As the Line Drive Club grows, increased membership and fundraising provide resources beyond the school’s budget, helping foster a stronger and more competitive softball program.

Coach Support – Partnered with the coaching staff to support program needs and shared goals, working together to enhance player performance and the softball program.
Community Engagement

Community Partnerships – Collaborated with local businesses and community organizations to support the softball program through sponsorships, fundraising, and youth events that promote school spirit and community engagement.

Player Recognition – Supported and recognized athletes’ achievements, including All-District, All-State, and MVP honors, by promoting accomplishments through social media and the website.

Program Promotion – Funded photography, media, and field banner initiatives to showcase players and recognize sponsors, giving local businesses visibility while promoting the softball program.
Season Highlights
2025
During the 2025 season, the Line Drive Club proudly supported the program by:
Funding equipment and supplies, including Hack Attack Jr. pitching machine, hitting nets, CamWood bats, practice balls, and equipment organization tubs.
Covering snacks and meals for away games.
Funding a VYPE professional photo shoot.
Purchasing food for the concession stand and slow-pitch fundraiser tournament.
Planned Support
2026
Looking ahead, the Line Drive Club plans to continue supporting the program through:
Providing gift cards for Christmas party winners.
Supplying the beginning-of-year team dinner for Varsity and JV.
Covering all meals for Varsity and JV during away tournaments.
Purchasing a second Hack Attack Jr. pitching machine, C-screen, and additional needed equipment.
